Tamburo presents the GIG SERIES, the compact 4-piece set designed to play anywhere.
Created for those who perform live frequently or need a light, easy-to-carry drum kit, the GIG combines small dimensions with a powerful, well-balanced sound.
The shells, built with hybrid HPL + wood technology, derive directly from research conducted for the UNIKA Series. The result is a solid, rigid, and lightweight structure capable of delivering great sound projection even in smaller spaces.

The word gig comes from Jazz culture, originally used to describe an occasional performance, a short concert, or a fast engagement.
It is from this spirit that the GIG SERIES was born: a drum kit designed for those who play live often, move from venue to venue, or need a compact kit for limited spaces.

THE SHELL
Built using hybrid technology: a high-pressure HPL laminate combined with natural wood layers for lightness, rigidity, and outstanding sound quality.

THE HOOPS
1.5 mm Triple-Flanged Hoops on Tom and Floor Tom for an open and dynamic response.
2.2 mm Triple-Flanged Hoops on the Snare for greater precision and attack control.
9 mm Full Maple Wooden Hoops on the Bass Drum for a warmer, deeper, and more natural sound.
THE T-LUG
The T-Lug tension rod block represents the latest evolution of Tamburo’s historic design. Completely re-engineered, lightened, and updated, its compact size ensures tuning stability and smoothness.
