Tamburo presents the 4GIG SERIES, a compact 4-piece kit designed to go wherever you do.
Perfect for musicians who play live frequently or need maximum portability, the 4GIG delivers reduced dimensions without sacrificing a powerful, dynamic, and well-balanced sound.
The shells represent an original project exclusively dedicated to the 4GIG series, featuring a combination of three different woods: Birch, Poplar, and Mahogany, arranged from the outer to the inner layers.
The hybrid shell created in this way offers a structure that is both solid and lightweight. Combined with the Tamburo “La Curva” bearing edge, it delivers excellent sound projection even in small spaces. Your ideal drum set for any situation, whether live or in the recording studio.

Technology and processes
THE SHELL
Shells designed and tested in Italy, built with “Hibryd Wood” technology: the combination of three different woods such as birch, poplar and mahogany to guarantee lightness, rigidity and high sound quality.
THE HOOPS
1.5 mm Triple-Flanged Hoops on Tom and Floor Tom for an open and dynamic response.
2.2 mm Triple-Flanged Hoops on the Snare for greater precision and attack control.
The wooden bass drum hoops with a natural finish give the bass drum a simple and very elegant contrasting look, in line with one of the oldest Tamburo traditions.
THE T-LUG
The T-Lug tension rod block represents the latest evolution of Tamburo’s historic design. Completely re-engineered, lightened, and updated, its compact size ensures tuning stability and smoothness.
