Trio Olamar: Impressions in the Bartók Music House (new Album)

Impressions in the Bartók Music House is an imaginative travel in time, through the musical formation of Trio Olamar (vagy “the Olamar Trio”), which relates to time Bèla Bartók spent in Rákoshegy. Hunyadi utca 50 and Hungarian Collections try to reflect the influence of his time spent in the Bartók Music House, which determined the album’s message and dramatic structure. Norwegian Forest reflects soft, romantic Scandinavian scenery, covered with forests. His favorite collection trips were made to Transylvania, where the Szèkely natives (Szeklers) have been striving for preservation for centuries, with unending devotion. Mountains of Carpathian (talán inkább Carpathian Mountains) also recalls our own musical experiences. Bèla Bartók visited Morocco, and we tried to cite his notes in Sidi Okba. The final composition on this album is sad summary of being forced to leave his home, the whirlpool of metropolitan New York (esetleg “of the Big Apple”), his illness and early death.
