Ami Rothenberg’s summer tour is characterized by Tamburo’s Italian style. In July and August, the celebrated Tamburo endorsing artist and his group, Bartender, will be performing in a series of gigs in Italy, around Terni and Viterbo. Four scheduled tour dates: three in August together with a series of clinics during which Ami Rothenberg will play his Tamburo Opera Classic drumkit. The model chosen is one of Tamburo’s top instruments, designed to satisfy the most demanding needs of drummers. Born in Israel and based in London, Ami Rothenberg began his musical education in the USA, at the prestigious University of North Texas under the supervision of internationally recognized master teacher Ed Soph. An extremely versatile drummer, he experimented with several different music genres, collaborating with the likes of Grammy nominated 1 Giant Leap, Robbie Williams, Nene Cherry, Maxi Jazz, Baba Ma’al, Michael Franti, Eddie Reader, Dave Randall’s band Slovo, Daniel Bedingfield, (Top 10 Hit Single) Gabrielle, Jonathan Gee, Neville Malcolm, and many more.
